As a School your trust is important to us so we want you to know that we are in the process of updating our Privacy Notice which explains how we collect, store and handle your personal data. In addition to reflect GDPR we are revising the Images/video consent form and making our Pupil Information Form/annual Data Collection Form GDPR compliant. Well done Year 6!

Grapes

We would like to bring to your attention that grapes can be a choking hazard to young children. If you are sending grapes into school for our Nursery children, could you please cut them lengthways, so that they can pass more easily through smaller throats and not width wise, because then they will still be big enough to choke on. For small children, please slice them downwards in half.

Water Bottles

As Summer approaches, please ensure all children bring a washed clean reusable water bottle to school. We encourage all our children to drink water and keep healthy. Please bring a reusable water bottle and avoid the plastic throw away ones – our School and Eco Council have been working on reducing waste.

Fact Finding Parent Questionnaire

As you may know, we are exploring the possibility of extending breakfast and after school provision at Worsley Mesnes Primary School. We need to first assess how viable this will be. If there was sufficient interest the Breakfast and After School Club would continue to be run by qualified staff members who currently work at the school. We are working in partnership with the Local Authority to establish whether this extended provision could be run successfully at the school. There have been several expressions of interest and now we are required to undertake a more formal process of gathering completed parent questionnaires. Could you please assist us in identifying a need for out of school hours childcare by completing this questionnaire and returning it to the school office by the deadline of Thursday 29th March 2018.

Please ask at the office to complete a questionnaire. You can also access the questionnaire by clicking on the link below:
