Welcome to our Noticeboard

Self Isolating

Please remember, if your child has been sent home to self isolate, as they have been in contact with someone who has tested positive, they must stay at home and not go out.

You must not leave your home if you're self isolating.

Parents' Evening

At the moment, we will not be holding a parents' evening due to the current Covid situation. If you need to speak to your child's class teacher, please contact our school office.

Remote Learning from Home
If children are working from home, they will be sent work to support their learning and this will be monitored and feedback given by teachers.  There is an expectation that it will be completed.
Pre Ordering School Dinners at Home
It is still possible to pre-order dinners at home with your child on the system. This will help staff to speed up the registration in the morning if this has already been done at home. If you are not sure how to do this, then please ring or ask at the school office.

Tik Tok

School has been made aware of a video going around on the Tik Tok App  which shows extremely violent and graphic footage. Please be aware that the age limit in the UK is 13 years for Tik Tok and can have unsuitable and
damaging footage on there.
At Worsley Mesnes we encourage our pupils and families to take suitable safety measures when online. The link below shares parental guidance for keeping children safe whilst online https://www.nspcc.org.uk/keeping-children-safe/online-safety/

Covid-19 Learn Safe Parent and Pupil Guidance
Please note that our guidance is being updated all the time - check our website for the latest updates. Remember - if you or your child feel unwell, please do not come to school.
Covid response under the National School Breakfast Programme
Our school has signed up to receive free healthy breakfast food as part of the Covid response offer, under the National School Breakfast Programme (NSBP), which is being delivered by the charities Family Action and Magic Breakfast. As part of this government funded scheme we now are able to offer all our children a piece of bagel every morning as they come into their classrooms and every two weeks we will receive a delivery of mixed cereals which we can give to parents to take home to ensure all our children have access to a free healthy breakfast.
Congratulations to Miss Bryon who got engaged during the summer holidays!
Welcome back to school, we are all happy to be back in school and to start our new term.
