Our Crisp Packet Project
Our school have been recycling crisp packets and our Eco-Team have been busy collecting, cleaning and preparing the packets to create survival sheets for the homeless. During the month of December, we collected food donations and on the last day of term we visited the Brick charity to deliver six survival blankets and several food hampers to help the homeless in Wigan.
Plant a Tree for the Platinum Jubilee
This year Her Majesty the Queen celebrates her 70th year as our reigning Monarch. As part of The Queen's Green Canopy initiative and with thanks to the Woodland Trust, we were given 30 trees. We have been very busy planting our Cherry, Rowan and Silver Birch trees and will take great care of the, as they grow.
