We are very lucky. We had a visit from our local and friendly paramedics. They brought an ambulance and a motorbike for us to look at. They told us lots of interesting facts and told us what we should do when there is an emergency. We went inside the ambulance and saw all the equipment that can help us. The best part was learning about the different sirens and listening to them. They were very, very loud!
Thank you for keeping us safe and making us better. We think that you are brilliant!

Trip to Wigan Museum and Pemberton Memorial Garden
On Monday we went on our class trip to Wigan Museum and Pemberton Memorial Garden. We started our day by riding on the school bus. We were very excited and some of the children were super excited because it was their first time on a bus.
We paid our respect to all the soldiers, nurses and animals that died during WW1 and WW2. We spoke about Thomas Woodcock, who won the Victoria Cross.
Why don't you ask your child an interesting fact about Thomas Woodcock?
We had lots of fun at Wigan Museum. We enjoyed finding out about the cotton mills and coal mines that used to be in Wigan.
World Book Day 2022
We have had a 'Jolly' time celebrating World Book Day.
We have shared some of our favourite stories with the class and have watched Julia Donaldson's 'The Snail and The Whale.
We are also enjoying reading our class book 'The Jolly Postman'.
